Someone says your name.

Then the sack comes to you. sey is a circle sport, and B-Sey℠ is the app that runs it — free, offline, no account.

the caller says Sokha

Eight people, one soft thing to throw, and a name said out loud. The lit seat is whose turn it is — and nobody in the circle could have predicted it.

Read the rules

What happens

  1. The caller says a name out loud.
  2. Whoever is holding the sack sends it to that person.
  3. If they receive it, that is one completed pass. Nobody scores alone.

That is the whole game. The rest of the rules are two minutes of reading, and they are not ours to keep — see the footer.

Four people, when one of you is calling

The caller is out of the receiving pool, so a circle of four leaves three who can be called. With only two, the sack just alternates and everyone knows who is next — the call stops meaning anything.

Three can play if the phone does the calling instead.

What the app adds

You do not need it. The sport works with a sack and five minutes.

Nobody keeps score. There is no ranking, no streak to protect and no player statistics — not as a setting, but because the app has nowhere to put them.

Where the app is, and where it is not

This app is for adults. It holds an account and it is downloaded from a store.

Classrooms and clubs go to seysays.org instead — free, permanently, with no accounts and nothing to install. That is not a lighter version of this one; it is a different door, and it exists so that the surface children use has no account system in it at all.

The ball

Any soft thing works, and always will. There is also a purpose-made one, B-Sey™, being made by Factory 333 — what it is, and where it is up to.
